The increased weights of gasoline engines after Dueltrack was published also made most of the Duelling Sample Vehicles and Chassis and Crossbow Sample Vehicles overweight.

Racing Bodies in Dueltrack were not considered to be Carbon-Aluminum Frames. CA Frames were not introduced to the Car Wars system until publication of ADQ 6/1 in Spring 1988.

The Special Variant Issue of ADQ 5/1 introduced the Funny Car Racing Body to Car Wars. The Funny Car Racing Body Style with modifications was reprinted in Car Wars Compendium 2.5.
