Changing class to the same class?

First of all, I apologize for opening yet another thread on changing class/races, but I absolutely could not find the answer to my question.

If I am a Cleric and somebody throws Curse! Change Class on me, and the first class card in the discards is a Cleric card, do I change one Cleric for the other, or should I keep looking for a class that is *different* from the one I am?

I understand that the text of Curse! Change Class explicitly says to grab the "first Class card you come to," but since the card implies a *change* in class, it seems to me that it could lead to both interpretations.

The literal instructions on the card are to be followed. If the first card you find is Cleric and you are a Cleric, then it was a rather mild Curse! and you got lucky (assuming you wanted to stay a Cleric).
