However there IS evidence they teach successfully taught their children to support themselves as adults and pass on those lesson to their own kids.

One of reason animals raised in captivity can't just be released into the while as they typically starve unless they're retrained.

I think Animal Handling for sapient children older than infancy should be Teaching. I could easily understand an age based specialty similar to how Pediatrics is different from general adult medicine.

Not nessicarily in that order though, kids can be better behaved at someone else's house.
Also one thing guaranteed to make a kid act up is the presence of a parent after an absence.
