Death Test (TFT) in DFRPG
Hi,
I've been pottering with converting the original TFT:Death Test 1 to DFRPG. I know I can't duplicate the original but would people be interested in a generic conversion guide? ADMINS: Please jump and squash this immediately if it breaks any rules/copyright etc, I don't think it does but you never can tell. What I would do is include only the specific numbered instructions that need to be changed: Eg: (67) They fire at you. Use Llandor, Puddin’, and Emily Elms. They will use the bows as long as they can, note that Puddin’ has four crossbows available. (140) The wolves are dire-wolves (Monsters p21), they ALL attack the same person. I've adapted the fighter table to use some of the Delvers: 6 Emily Elms, from web Note +1 ST 7 Harrison “Happy” Badapple, p5 8 Grükuk Kzaash, Adv. p119 Note +1 ST 9 Argua p4 10 Llandor, p7 11 Samar, p11 12 Masha Deathfoot, p8 13 Glint, from web 14 Sir Yvor, p12 15 Miao Miao, p9 Note +1 DX 3,4,5 & 16,17,18 will be custom designs as they have much higher point values. And a wizard table: 1 Francesco Zombani Cleric 2 Ælin rock-talker Druid 3 Jag Fairchild Bard 4 Miriam Cleric 5 Seamus Wizard 6 Zephyra Wizard I realise this is totally useless unless you own TFT:Death Test 1 but I suspect a few might and it will be a useful training exercise. My son is just starting to explore the idea of GURPS as a GM and I'm converting it for him. Wayne |

If you make conversion notes, and they reprint it, I might well have use for it. Without a reprint, I don't.

How are you handling the spell lists?
I've been toying with assigning IQ levels to DF/DFRPG spells with the thought being to replace DF/DFRPG magic with Wizard. Just curious what you think. |

Regarding characters (wizards and spells especially) all I would to is just say use this character or that one.

Re: Death Test (TFT) in DFRPG
I was planning to use Delvers as a resource for characters.
Now that I think about it this was only available to those who bought the GM shield which included that supplement? Is that correct? |

Delvers to go comes with the GM Screen if that's what you mean.

Re: Death Test (TFT) in DFRPG
Sounds nice, I'd buy a reprint (if existing), currently I do not own the original material...
