As opposed to a formal test, simply have them captured, interrogated, and let it be known that the security service will be observing them. Then over the course of the rest of this adventure and the next, have a security service agent appear from time to time. Certainly if there's anything that looks like it might be a loyalty problem, the agency should respond accordingly.
In might be a good idea to have the appearance of the service agents be as a type of intervention, when the PCs are involved in some variety of gray activity, or just after, questioning loyalty.
