Default Calabim in the Marches

Can Calabim use their Resonance in Ethereal Combat? I would imagine they'd add Ethereal Forces to their Check Digit and the target would take Mind Hits...

One can only play the Ethereal Combat game if one knows how the Ethereal plane works. Having the proper attunement or song affords the character this knowledge. Without it, you're stuck fighting soul to soul, restricted by your Precision (Sucks, dont it?).
This means Calabim would be tearing up the soul, not the mind, unless they knew how. This does make Calabim of Nightmares awful to the unprepared angel :P

So thats a "No" then?

If it helps I'll rephrase the question: Can a Calabite under any situation use their Resonance to inflict Mind Hits?

I'd go with "No." Too powerful to be able to do that also. But with the right knowledge, yes (per above comment).
