If you're talking function, you can definitely do that without regard to the mini. Just do your build and then document it (pic ought to do it), then do your other build.


If you're talking mini, geting a few of them and making variant paints, weapons, etc would be awesome.

Bit of both, really -- my _Piranha_ designs are based around the fact that one can do quite a bit even with "basic" _CW_ weapons. Doing that with minis necessarily means coming up with a mini which looks like the design (if nothing else, it gets the nitpickers off my back :) ).

For ex.: The conventional _Piranha_ has a single RL forward; one of my variants has upwards of *three* RLs forward, which necessarily requires at least three things on the mini's Front which look like RLs.
