Default Multiple monster battle

I am going up against two monsters in battle. If I am able to kill one, but not the other, do I just get the bad stuff from the one I couldn't kill or both?

Default Re: Multiple monster battle

Under normal conditions, you must fight the Monsters together by adding their combat strengths (Level + bonuses - penalties). You can't kill one and not the other, and if you can't beat them together, you must Run Away from each Monster individually (i.e., you have to roll to Run Away from each Monster in the combat), and suffer the Bad Stuff of any Monster from which you fail to Run Away. You do not suffer Bad Stuff just for losing the combat and having to Run Away, you must first fail on the Run Away roll.
