Same with Hebrew, and Thai is apparently another strong choice.

Interestingly, a lot of the victims of this already had some knowledge of the mythos before their encounter, even if they didn't believe, a lot of time they had read some of the Necronomicon or one of the other forbidden texts, so when they encounter Whatever, they recognize it, or approximately so.

So a person who encounters Whatever with no background at all might just gibber, while someone know who suddenly realizes what he thought was myth is real gibbers along with bits of coherence that mean nothing to anyone else.

It's apparently a thing in Eastern Europe to have an Orthodox priest come and anoint your computer hardware to protect it.

A Romanian priest got caught on camera using a paint roller and broom handle to anoint monitors out of reach (he apparently also uses it for high walls).

And it's being done right now by a politically controversial cleric to protect from the WCry ransomware worm:

1) Holy oil/water paint rollers are a logical extension of the holy-water super soaker. I think it's brilliant and ergonomic.

2) What happens when skeptical PCs turn down the blessing and their computers get possessed?

Richmond girl learns that sea lions are actually large predators.

No one was harmed.

If you store tin at low temperatures, this happens.

Seems like even without planned eugenics, significant and rapid environmental adaptation is a thing even in humans.

Yep. Once we start looking at environments instead of trying to figure out who's better than who, all sorts of little fun quirks pop out of the human gene pool. . A gene that reduces oxygen consumption by emphasizing sugar over fat? that's a fun one!

Though that gene looks like it would be a negative in times of starvation where using fat is better.
