Now I'm Confused
Just d/l the new Miniatures Lite reference sheet.
The terrain summary chart says TNK movement in Forests is halved. I thought TNK movement through Forests was normal, 1MP. A quick check of the Ogre Reference Sheet confirms, as does the rule book. It's Light Tanks that are 2MP for Forests. But there are no LTs in the Mini-Lite so it can't be referring to them. Is this a change, or a typo? Don't get me wrong, I think I like this as a change. I know about the Ardennes Forest, but tanks shouldn't be completely unaffected by big trees, IMHO. This would also give an Ogre a chance to 'scrape off' Heavies that are too cowardly to attack from the front! Besides, I don't mentally put Heavies, Mobile HWZ, and Missile Crawlers in the same category as Ogres and Supers. I'd rather have them join the LT and MSL instead. Anywho, can someone clear this up? |

Re: Now I'm Confused
TNK is for Light Tanks, Missile Tanks, etc.
HVY or OGR (depending upon the publication) is for Heavy Tanks. This product uses OGR, with exclusions, for HVY Tanks. I know, less than clear. But it is spelled out in the text. D.

I know space is limited, but see if you can fit four small pictures of the LGEV, GEV-PC, LT & MHWZ in the next edition. |
