Default Backerkit Question

Pardon me for being dense, but I have a question.

What the heck is my Warehouse 23 account name?

The Kickstarter survey asked for an email to use for Warehouse 23. That's clear and unambiguous, so that was easy. But the Backerkit asking instead for an 'account name' immediately threw me off.

Do you want my login for my account? (That's what I put in.) Or do you want my actual person-name as used on the account? Why didn't you just ask for my email again?

The weirdest things totally throw my brain for a loop.

I just played it safe and provided both, in the format:

That is quite reasonable. I shall adjust my response, thanks.

I put in my username. I hope it works.

If they wanted the e-mail address that I use for Warehouse23, they should have said so.

Warehouse 23 email address or username is fine. We can search by both and associate PDF rewards to the address or username.

In trying to complete my backerkit survey, I was surprised to find that my Legacy Box shipping total seemed to be:
$23.00 (on a $60.00 product pledge).

I live in Texas.

Can somebody confirm that this is an accurate price before I complete my survey?

Discussion:

I was a bit surprised. I then noticed that the estimated shipping cost to U.S. on the campaign page was in fact $20.00.

Don't cry for me . . . I then noticed on the Kickstarter comments that a guy in the UK has to pay $42.00 for his shipping.

Granted, it appears that this is going to be a sizeable box. And I must have been spoiled by previous SJ Kickstarters in which shipping costs were subsidized by stretch goals.

I'm going to have to start considering these costs in the future before I spring for non-PDF goodness.

I wish some entrepreneur would find a way to distribute KS rewards and print PDFs through local game stores to help with costs and strengthen the retailers. (Edit: Everything old is new again.)

Sounds right.
Shipping to Maryland for my haul is at $42. It had been higher but I dropped down to just two extra sets of megahexes and duplicate sets of counters.

That sounds right to me as well.

We need a service more reliable than USPS and cheaper than the shipping companies, especially for overseas shipping.

If you have no add-ons and are in the U.S., then $23 is correct.
