Default munchkin dice

since munchkin dice is not in print anymore, will the cards be updated in color anywhere in future releases?

I would think that once Dice gets reprinted, the cards will be printed in color, since that's what Andrew said here. Please remember, if something is Munchkin and OOP, that doesn't necessarily mean that SJG won't ever reprint it, but it certainly means that SJG hasn't gotten around to reprinting it yet. Unless, of course, someone can point to something I've missed where Andrew, SJ, Paul or Phil said that Dice is dead. . .

Munchkin Streaming Chat 2, Andrew declared a reprint "very unlikely" because actually DOING Dice was a logistical nightmare because of the packaging and assembly.

The message I took away was "We're not saying we will never reprint it, but we're not planning to reprint it, so don't keep your hopes up."

Okay, I'm remembering that now. I missed a fair portion of the second chat thanks to an Internet connection problem, and I was trying to cook dinner at the same time, so now that you actually mention it in that way, snippets of memories have popped up and said, "Hey!"

Given that, it is always possible for those cards to appear elsewhere. Can't say where or when, but it's always possible.

I remember him saying that although the dice might not be reprinted due to cost and other factors, the cards might be reprinted in color at some point.

i raise the stakes:

I remember him saying that although the dice might not be reprinted due to cost and other factors, the cards will be reprinted in color very soon

So, to the waiting couch! (*sits and turns on the elevator music*)

I think you better go back and watch the video. I'd almost bet money that it was a "maybe".

I concede defeat in this matter. He did say "Very Soon" and that was posted less than 10 days ago.

But would have to say that they would be in color since nothing will be reprinted in the duo-tone scheme.

Look for a booster called Munchkin Reloaded!, coming out in November. (We leaked this one in our GenCon marketing giveaways, so I don't see any harm in telling y'all about it now.)
