Re: GURPS - Your Licensed Product Wishlist
Maybe needs more of a narrativist system, though, even if one doesn't go full Nobilis.

Re: GURPS - Your Licensed Product Wishlist
Cosmic does not a narrativist system make. You'd find more use from expanding the details of Impulse Buys.

And compete with White Wolf's Lost game (which confusingly borrowed the 'Changeling' title from their original fae game)?

Re: GURPS - Your Licensed Product Wishlist
Thats a good point. It also could fit into the Monster Hunter line.

Re: GURPS - Your Licensed Product Wishlist
Regarding recent fantasy novels, I really like Brandon Sanderson's "Stormlight Chronicles" and would like to play in that setting: It is full of rich world descriptions and has quite a serious tone, which would fit good to GURPS IMHO. A lot of interesting characters, powers, creatures, very cool religions/gods etc., I would love to see that as a comprehensive "powered by gurps" volume! :)
...and btw: As it is still fresh and writing is ongoing, licenses are probably available, while on the other hand (I think) the majority (and the crucial part) of the world is already set. Last edited by OldSam; 09-18-2019 at 02:09 PM. |

Re: GURPS - Your Licensed Product Wishlist
Another one I'd like to see: GURPS Dungeon Fantasy: Order of the Stick. o/`

Re: GURPS - Your Licensed Product Wishlist
When it comes to urban fantasy, I would like to point to "Night watch" by Lukyanenko. Really Awesome, in a dark, modern russian setting style, which is definitely a new flavour. Reading the novels (movies are not _that_ great, but ok) you will immediately see all the hooks for RPG gaming, a lot of cool classes, powers etc. ... :)
