Chrome, did you know that the skull has 2 DR? That takes effect before the multiplier for Impaling. So your shots that did 6 and 8 damage are reduced to 4 and 6 damage, respectively. Then they get doubled for Imp to 8 and 12, and all damage to the skull is x4, for a final damage of 32 and 48. But if the enemies are wearing any armor, that comes off the base damage, not the final, so for example 1 DR would reduce them to 24 and 32, respectively.

i think you are jumping ahead too soon. Shawncorey has to work out the rnage penalties for the previous attacks and have the opponents retaliate. Good shot though.
