Madlands gods
Are any of the gods of Fantasy 2 based on "real" gods?

Re: Madlands gods
Coincidence, the real Ashdown Forest was defined in the 1693 Forest Act, and the portion of the forest commons that Milne based his stories on was the "Five-Hundred Acre Wood".

Re: Madlands gods
My "fanon" here, is that the Madlands are like the Outback in The Maxx, or the The Land in A Game of You: it's what the Hundred Acre Wood, became after Christopher Robin Milne grew up and no longer believed in it. It reflects his experience in WWII, the lingering affects of his father's PTSD, his dissatisfaction with the way his father exploited his childhood for art, and the commercializtion of childhood by Walt Disney.
