Wanted for testing purposes:

Characters built using 195 points for net running purposes. DNI required. Using GURPS CLASSIC CYBERPUNK software rules, cyberdeck skill required, hard limit of $200,000 for cyberdeck and software. Software skill starts at 12, with each doubling of cost paid increasing program skill by +1.

Please give characters a name as well as net handle. Must take secret: exile or imprisonment to reflect the fact that the net runner engages in behavior that if discovered would land him/her in jail or prison. Netrunners can be of any culture or nationality. Post said characters here.

My intent, will be to test said characters in either solitaire GM mode, or even offer a netrun or two via Fantasy Grounds 2 (software that in demo/free mode, can be used to interact real time chat mode, for GURPS interaction.

I want to put GURPS CLASSIC CYBERPUNK through its paces as it was meant to be run. What better way to test it than through the net?

Again: hard limit on the cash costs for equipment used for net running. All other cybernetic implants such as the DNI cost character points. Logs of net runs will be in html formats showing both netrunner die rolls and GM secret rolls not only for your run, but for any other netrunners who make the same run.

Note: up to 75 points in disadvantages, along with up to 5 quirks for a total of -80 points in disadvantages/quirks.

If there are more than four people who want to try this out, I may post the net runs in the play by post area.

The idea here is to post characters here as a resource of characters to other GMs and/or players who want to keep cyberpunk the genre alive.

Maybe if this ends up being reasonably successful, we might try the experiment using the pyramid 3_21 Cyberpunk rules.

Are you looking for 3e characters - which is what Cyberpunk is written for - or 4e characters? There's often a big difference in point values between the two, given the changes in pricing for attributes and skills.

Looking for 4e characters. Must however, include cyberdeck operation as a skill, per GURPS CLASSIC CYBERPUNK.

Still says simply "Wanted" in the forum list itself. I think only the mods can change the thread title.
