That's going to scare the crap out of Homeline. That's a full-blown proxy war by not one but two unknown crosstime powers that are at least marginally like homeline, and it's been going on for more than a decade.

What Quantum is it on, though? If it's 6 or 7, it can seriously worry both Homeline and Centrum.

Started on five (probably, Infinity isn't sure because they didn't discover it until after it had been interfered with) and the mucking about has shifted it, first to six, then to four, and now it is on seven.

While Infinity is freaking out, Centrum probably suspects that different actors on Secundus are responsible.

Centrum likely knows enough to recognize Secundus military hardware, and it would fit in Centran thinking that 'chaotic' Secundus would have different powers backing different factions on another world. To be fair, such proxy conflicts have happened, though on a much smaller scale and far more circumspect.



Where would the various armed powers be getting their ammunition? Are they being resupplied, or is it a one-time thing?

To keep it interesting there would need to be both resupply and training operations, and obviously both Patrol and Interworld are probably trying to capture some of these.

No former echo (of Homeline) would be hospitable to Gernsback weaponry unless they had a major reality quake.

That was the idea yeah, Gernsback weapons wouldn't have worked there initially.
