That's how I saw it too. "Priorities" are things SJ is trying to change. I don't see any need to change GURPS material yet. e23 is doing well, and e23 mostly boils down to "GURPS," so that probably means GURPS is doing about as well as can be expected in the current market. The only cause for concern that I can see is Pyramid, honestly.

I note that it still hasn't been posted the Illuminator. I think you probably really ought to. Not every stakeholder "tweets" or reads this forum, but do follow the blog.

And those who do recognize that the Illuminator autoposts at midnight Austin time, so there's every chance there's one queued up already. Patience, lad.

Well, I was expecting it last night, as RPK's post here (and I'd guess the Twitter) were yesterday morning.

I assume they wanted the Ogre post to go up first.

Not aggressively, no. I just look at the page once a day, just before I read these forums.

I'm trying to decide how many Twitterers whom I'd be interested in following are needed to justify setting up an account. I know of five so far; that isn't enough yet.

Having read this and previous reports to stakeholders. I have three observations:

1. It is very well written and provides all of the needed information without descending into tedious details.

2. I find it refreshing to read an honest assessment of how a company is performing rather than the usual propaganda that accompany many of these sorts of statements.

3. I'm glad to see that Steve Jackson Games is doing well enough to want to expand its personnel. That is great. From the sound of things I have heard it is a great company to work with and for.

Time for more e23 purchases after payday.

Dave.

I've always liked working with them. They're professional, e23 makes it trivially easy for an author to see exactly how well (or poorly) his books are selling up to the day, and the royalty checks show up in my mailbox like clockwork *.

* No, not "faintly ticking." That's how time bombs show up in my mailbox. The checks are like clockwork in that they appear with predictable regularity.
