Zone Washington, well away from urban areas and military bases. Some economic targets nearby, but I suspect they're pretty low down the target list. Good chance of survival into the new world of Reign of Steel.

Probably already under AI control when they turn against their masters and run amok in an orgy of blood and kicking and the biting with the metal teeth and the hurting and shoving.

Zone Washington about 100 miles south of Lake Michigan. Have no idea what was supposed to happen to Indy. State capital, Army finance center, 38th Division headquarters, and a major airfield probably means it got pasted.

Can't be 100% certain due to the scale of the map, but it looks like I'm on the border between Denver and Vancouver. As best as I can tell with google maps, I am almost directly on the border between the two. 10-20 miles on either side depending on where exactly it zigs or zags on its path north/south.

Yay... border zone between two less than fun places.

Zone Berlin controls Germany (IIRC: wants to exterminate the humans without hurting the plants and other animals; dislikes plagues, likes killer microbots). If your profile location is out of date you might fare better: Zone Paris is obsessed with SETI, and is keeping the humans around as slaves to help with that.
