Same here... A partial book that will never be sold. Played alot of different systems, own 2-3.

And making my hobby pay for itself... No, not likely unless your teaching classes somewhere...

The problem is that there are at least three different axes here:

1) How many different systems do I play on a regular basis?

2) How much gaming stuff do I have/know?

3) How involved am I? How much time do I spend on gaming or thinking about gaming?

...so a simple multiple choice is unlikely to be particularly accurate.

HERETIC!! UNBELIEVER!! all of life can be accurately reduced to a simple multiple choice, although I was dissapointed but the lack of inclusion of option D) all of the above.

Wait...

...is this a site about gaming? What the...

A by the OP, B by Rocketman. I can only dream of playing multiple systems on a weekly basis (I don't even play one that frequently).

Feel free to add your own (or even a newer post) to refine and better categorize this. That alone would be worth major re-geeking points < laugh >

J - I work as the buyer for a games store and get paid to order games, sell games, talk about games, and sometimes even run games. My store has lots of role-playing games but I have more than they do. I own thousands of games that take up hundreds of linear feet of space. There are several games for which I own 99-100% of everything ever published. My games collection would cost more to replace than the building it is in.

Same for me. I have played / owned many rpg's, but now only play in GURPS or occasionally dnd3.5 or Champions.
I don't consider myslef an expert in any of them; rather, I develop an agreed subset of rules with the players that can approach a sorytelling system.

There should be extra points for Esoteric and or Arcane knowlage about the early RPG's and the very beginning years of the hobby...

So how much is a copy of Bunnies & Barrows worth?
