GURPS Holiday Sale - PDFs 40% Off

Bought 11 PDFs, including one Pyramid I already had because I didn't notice that I already had it.

Ended up buying another 20-something titles. I have all the GURPS 4e PDFs now, except the one title that wasn't on sale (Interstellar Wars) and the 30 or so Pyramid issues I don't own.

Edited to add: And also the GURPS Prime Directive stuff, which isn't on sale either. But they're on my list for some day (as well as the physical books -- the only GURPS 4e physical books I don't own).

Did my massive PDF purchase. I'm working my way slowly backwards decided to focus on Pyramid as I'm mostly just getting new stuff until I complete that collection but also got the basic set in PDF (so now I have both hardback and pdf of those that I couldn't quite convince myself at full price for both).

Unfortunately I went on a bit of a buying spree to support the KS. so I don't think there's much I still want to buy!

That was what I thought until I took a look...

Here's an idea for an improvement to w23 that would increase the yield from sales like this: some way of telling the search engine "Everything that matches this search that I don't already own."

Too good of a deal to pass up. I got Henchmen to run a low power DF adventure while I wait for the kickstarter to show up. Also, when the KS does arrive I'll have all manner of hirelings/NPCs to sprinkle into my PC's adventures!

Not a bad idea, and one that's crossed my mind before. W23 does of course have its list of your prior downloads.

My interim solution is to open the directory where I keep GURPS PDFs, and check that against the web browser list. Not too bad if you sort the directory i alpha order.

I seem to recall W23 will tell you if you try to order something you've already bought, but it would be nice to move that filter even earlier. You also might want to see owned items in a search, so perhaps the owned ones should be greyed out, or have some other visual marking (a missing Add To Cart button, even) rather than simply be absent.

I don't think SJG want to prevent us from buying multiple copies if we're determined.
