Announcing Bookish Layout 0.94 (requires GCA 4.0.371 or later).

Bookish Layout is always available from: http://www.motoslave.net/thom/gca/sheets/

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bookish Layout 0.94 highlights:
  • Added a new blog/wiki markup output format: Textile.
  • Added the, optional, ability to rewrite various traits, from their current style in GCA to one closer to that from the GURPS formatting guidelines (default: enabled).
  • Changed the initial heading level option to include two additional levels.
PS: I probably should have mentioned this last release. When using the expanded bestiary format for the Melee Attacks block, if a second score is listed in the skill area, it's the parry score.

Announcing Phoenix 1.43 (requires GCA 4.0.371 or later).

Phoenix is always available from: http://www.motoslave.net/thom/gca/phoenix/

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phoenix 1.43 highlights:
  • Changed the Hit Location Table block to add, optional, support for the humanoid hit location table modifications from Low-Tech (p. 100) and to add an, optional, sub-block, Humanoid Armor Gaps Table, which supports the armor gaps rules from Low-Tech (p. 101).
  • Changes to the Equipment and Load-Out blocks:
    • Changed the processing of the uses() tag to enable multi-mode use and allow use of the "count" constant, which adds a number of uses equal to the owning trait's count/qty (e.g. uses(count)). Additionally, when using the "count" constant, you may also append a multiplier in the form of "* N" (e.g. uses(count * 2)); whitespace is not significant.
    • Added support for the new usescount() tag, which allows you to specify how many sets of uses checkboxes to print. Valid values are the same as for the updated uses() tag.
    • Removed the Equipment and Load-Out blocks' checkbox sets/quantity option, in favor of the usescount() tag. To achieve the same result as the "Equal to quantity" selection, add a usescount() tag with the "count" constant (e.g. usescount(count)).

Does Melange have a new site, or can someone send me the latest Flexsheet? I've been trying for months to get it again since I had to format my HD.

Not as far as I know.

The latest version is here: FlexSheet (1.43). I've also updated its last update post in this thread—the link was bad—and I want ahead and uploaded it to the repository as well.

PS: If there's a resource that I'm hosting and the link's gone bad/missing, please let me know.

Bookish Layout 0.94 highlights:[list][*]Added a new blog/wiki markup output format: Textile.
So I recently got around to opening a Obsidian Portal page for my GURPS Shadowrun game and love everything about it - except the fact that it uses Textile markup.

The trouble I'm having is exporting my characters using Bookish Layout .94 into the Textile markup option.

I go into the Character Sheet Options, Select Bookish Layout
Select "textile markup" on the "format the output" option
Go to "File", "Export...", select "Bookish Layout" then OK at the default settings (nothing checked except "Custom File Format" with "txt")

Here's what I get when I paste my exported document into the Textile-based post (pasted txt begins with the name "Slag"):

http://www.obsidianportal.com/campai...haracters/slag

Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have experience posting GURPS characters to Obsidian Portal with success?

Textile markup support was added specifically for Obsidian Portal, and it worked fine at the time I added it. I'll check it out to see what the problem is.

Oh, I have no doubt it's probably something I'm doing wrong but I'd love to figure out what it is so I can get my PC's and NPC's online through Obsidian. :D

Maybe a step by step so I can't mess it up this time?

Any help would be great plus I'm sure it wouldn't hurt any to have online for anyone else who might need a little nudge in the right direction like me.

Thanks!
