cleric question
A cleric was being helped in a battle so at the end he had to pick three treasures face up. Could he pick all three from the discard pile or some from the discard pile and some from the regular one?
Lets say he picks the three treasures from discards. Rules say he has to throw a card after picking each card from the discards. Which is the right order? He picks the three treasures at once and then throws away three cards or one pick-one throwing away and so on?This is important because if he picks a Gual Card, can he play it immediately, then discard it and re-pick it to gain another level?Doesn't sound right... |

Re: cleric question
You must discard a card from the hand for each card picked from the discards. You must choose, before drawing all the cards, how many are coming from the discards and from the deck. You can not discard new cards received to pay for the use of the resurrection ability. You have to discard the cards after you draw so that you're not discarding cards from your hand so that you can draw them again. Once you've drawn all the new cards, then discarded cards from your hand, you distribute the cards as per your agreement, then, and only then, can you and your helper play the cards you just received.

Re: cleric question
If the cleric was the helper can he not use the resurrection ability on his share of the loot since the main fighter will draw the treasure cards

Re: cleric question
No, because the Resurrection ability is used on cards YOU draw.

Either way, according to the rules, the player who initiated the combat (and in almost all instances, that's the player whose turn it is), not the helper, will draw the Treasure cards after a successful combat. This means that the helper can not use a special ability that might change from where cards are drawn. |
