Default Thaumatology/RPM: Other Enchantment systems?

Okay, so while I like Ritual Path Magic, I am not so down with its proposed system of Magic Tools. I am reluctant to have enchanted gear tied to character points or spell slots.

Normally, I'd replace the whole thing with the Meta-tronic Generators system from Pyramid and further elaborated on by the Ravens N Pennies blog.

But! I am intrigued by the enchantment system of Sorcery. I think it is a good system, and I want to adapt it to RPM. Any thoughts on that? What would change the most from Magic Tools to Sorcery's take on enchantment aside from the obvious? Good idea? Advice on adjustments?
