Munchkin Genesis? (a Bible edition)

I LOVE Munchkin and am getting all my friends on board (pun intended).

I am also a seminary graduate and love to make Bible / Christianity / faith puns and references. (A Game for Good Christians, a Bible version of Cards Against Humanity, is one of my favorite games.)

Has anyone ever thought of making a Bible version of Munchkin? There's plenty of heroes, monsters, and weird bonuses to depict. It could be done in a way that was fun without being insulting or evangelizing.

I would consider making one just for myself, but I was just wondering if anyone else had already done it. (If not, Steve Jackson, feel free to steal the idea!)

We have discussed it and our current feeling is that this is a minefield we do not need to cross. No pun intended.

Yeah. While I'm a devout Christian myself and would be totally fine with such a version (as long as it didn't get blatantly insulting), I also know a lot of people who would be offended no matter how tastefully it's done. Some people out there are just looking to be offended. Doesn't seem very Christian to me, but it's not my place to judge them. (Doesn't stop me from judging them, but I never said I was a good Christian.)
