Re: Face up or face down cards? Please asnwser the newbie's question :)
And sorry if I am questioning too much, but I remember we had yesterday this argue - I made a sex change to a player who was a male and who was fighting with the Amazon and claimed that since he is a female now he will stop fighting and take one treasure. Both of us were really confused if this is right, but we played it that way, so I really wanna know if I was correct or not :)

Re: Amazon and Sex Change
Yea, actually I did it, because he was winning with help from another, refusing my help first for one of the treasures, so i basically wanted to screw them so they can take only one :P

Re: Amazon and Sex Change
Removing the Amazon from the combat by her special ability is considered a defeat, but you only get the 1 Treasure for doing it. She will indeed leave as soon as there is any female present, so you did play it correctly. If there were any other monsters present, the munchkins must still defeat them to get the Treasure the Amazon left behind, though. Even if there were no other monsters present, players must still be given reasonable time to play cards, such as Wandering Monster, in an attempt to stop the combat owner gaining that Treasure.
