Added multipliers
Hi, my English is Broken to write but Accented to read. XD
I have a doubt and still cannot find the answer in the forum. If I shoot in the Brain (damage modifier x4) of a zombie with Injury Tolerance (Unliving) which the total modifier of damage? The damage is x4, or the weapon modifier modified by Injury tolerance (Unliving), or the sum of the two? |

Re: Added multipliers
Basic Set, page 400, bottom of the first column.
Basically, the relevant hit location multiplier usually replaces all other multipliers. A piercing hit to a zombie's brain does x4 injury. |

Re: Added multipliers
It all depends of the zombie.
If it also has the No Brain advantage (if his brain is not truly required to command his body), the answer will be: don't take the x4 modifier into account. Just take the weapon modifer modified by Injury Tolerance (Basic Set, page 380). But if the zombie needs his brain to act (if he has not the No Brain advantage) the x4 will have to be taken into account. Just multiply the damage by x4, as if it was an ordinary man, and, then, modify the result by the Injury Tolerance modifier. 5 points of piercing damage will for example give 5 x 4 x 1/3 = 6 points of damage. |
