Default Hey Gang something fell through the cracks....

While compiling a new scenario I came to realize that the GITD army or as I have some to call it the Ghost Army should really have some additional rules regarding its uses besides the face that it glows in the dark.
Naturally one use could be to use it as a destroyed/irradiated marker for other units...that would make sense.
But any ideas to take this to the next level. I have a few but want to wait until the scenario is finished and wanted to see what the Hive mind thought. calling it the Ghost army you probably can already see where I'm headed.

Lead by a charismatic northern commander named "Aragorn" perhaps?

I vaguely remember some fluff (I think from the Ogre Miniatures book) about "Vanderdecken's Brigade" which seemed to imply it was a "ghost" unit that stories had sprung up about.

What little I can remember is that it was a Paneuropean unit guarding the Arctic border with the Combine near the Bearing strait. Apparently, when the MK IIs and MK IIIs attacked (Anyone remember "Icepick"?) - Vanderdecken's brigade met a group of them trying to cross the the ice flows and they all went down together in the icy arctic ocean.

Kind of gives me the creeps to think of them (including the cybertanks) rising from the ice to once again fight their final battle.

Thanks. I'll have open my book and reread that.

Man. We need more fiction like that, stuff to really inspire players.

That, sadly, is not something I can do. Scenarios, vignettes, rules, or faux history - those I can write. But my story fiction is just absolutely dreadful, bordering on unreadable.

Maybe the Ghost Army can have phase shifting or teleportation powers.

I've been thinking of something sonic or extreme cold.
