Default Terrain destruction

(Editor note: Thread posts moved from main Ogre forums so Jake and Auroch may more easily find this. -Drew)

When I attack a road the game hangs. I can clear it by End Phase but the road is undestroyed.

I'd like to zoom in even closer to see those tanks super up close.

I'd like to be able to call up an Ogre status panel at any time when I'm playing an Ogre.

Graphic sign for multiple units in hex is not awesome, as has been noted.

I'd like to be able to combine or split infantry squads after they move.

These are just nitpicks - I am extremely happy that this exists. Thanks to everyone who made that stretch goal happen.

I'm having the same problem, oddly I didn't have this problem when I played on the 5th.

It pulls the one from Steam.

This must be an introduced bug, because roads were very destroyable the last time I played.

I too, had a hang during the attack phase. I'm reasonably certain I wasn't attacking the road, but an Ogre secondary. I left it for an hour to see if the hung process would clear, but no joy. Ended the phase and was still able to complete the game. The bad part was that was my first attack of the phase.

Same. I used road destruction to good effect in the first mission of Nightfall, to slow the rogue Ogre down further.

This absolutely exists. I tried several tests where it didn't matter. The attack never resolves. While we are at it, I'm going to officially say I hope "real" terrain destruction rules are going to be put in place. Just shooting roads isn't going to cut it.

we need to be able to shoot at ALL terrain, terrain should be damaged when overruns happen, and the interface for selecting terrain needs to change. Currently, it highlights EVERY hex that has something that can be attacked. This is exceptionally confusing when it lights up every road overlay when all I want to know about is enemy units. I'd like to see a distinction made between attacking terrain and attacking units.

I 2nd this request. Maybe make it three different highlights. Yellow for terrain/structures, red for units and Yellow with a red outline for when both are present in a hex.
