Cursed Thingy and Halo

question:

A player throws me the curse 'cursed thingy', which states that the item cursed loses its power. I apply it on the only item I have in the game: Halo.

THEN

I suffer the bad stuff of a monster: I die.

What should I do with Halo?

1) I lose the item: I discard it and becomes lotable.

2) Halo stays with me even after the death with the curse still attached.

3) Halo stays with me even after the death, but the curse is discarded.

For the record, I applied the first solution.

Curse! Cursed Thingy states that the Item loses its powers. This would include the ability for the Halo to survive Death (even though the Curse is no longer attached). So I would agree with your first option too.

First option is the one I would use as well.

Clipper is correct; Cursed Thingy says the Curse is lifted for whoever loots the Halo from you, which means it's still in place as long as you have it. If no one loots the Halo, it goes to the discard pile, because you can't use its abilities.
