Just a foil box ?

Just want to start with I love the game of munchkin.i just decided to buy another munchkin game the original is what I wanted I have it already but I have most of the expansions mixed in so I wanted just the base game for quick out the door headed to a friends house kinda thing and this is were I got disappointed I ordered the foil addition and I could not wait to get it I wanted to see how cool the foil cards would be but to my dismay there the same old cards the box was was foil but not cards.very bummed I don't want to be the complainer but I think that if it says foil and it does not mean the cards you should say it in the ad.thanks for the venting just wanted to get it off my chest.

We're sorry that you felt misled. Printing the entire game with foil cards (apart from apparently making every card in the game curl up) would have been significantly more expensive; we wouldn't have been able to charge the same price for it.

Then the ad should have said just the box is foil and to be quit honest the foil sport cards that we had as kids didn't curl and I would have spent the extra for foil cards because they would have been awesome.

Sports cards tend to be printed on heavier stock, in my experience. In any case, we have tried foil cards and they curled BADLY, so that's not an experiment we're likely to repeat.
