Improvised Weapon
I have a question about the Improvised Weapon in the Apocalypse game. The card states that any time an Item Enhancer is to be discarded, it instead applies itself to the Improvised Weapon. Now, what if I discard an item enhancer to, let's say, fuel my thief class' Theft ability (assuming I am mixing games here). Does the Item Enhancer then go right back to my improvised weapon, thus creating an infinite amount of theft attempts?
I believe I have seen on the forum that you can discard item enhancers in order to fuel Theft. For clarification, the Improvised Weapon card reads "[Please don't quote card text. Thanks.]" Thanks Last edited by Andrew Hackard; 07-20-2015 at 05:00 PM. |

Re: Improvised Weapon
Sounds like a good reason not to combine Apocalypse with classic Munchkin, or to Curse the hell out of the Thief if you do.
That said, yes, you've found a loop. So I'm going to close it with a FAQ: Q: May I discard an Item Enhancer off the Improvised Weapon itself and then reclaim it using the Improvised Weapon ability? A: No. Discarding an Item Enhancer that was previously attached to the Improvised Weapon means it stays discarded. (This is an official erratum for Apocalypse.)
