Default Questions about Curse! Kick Yourself In The Ass

We had some questions come up in tonight's session about the card Curse! Kick Yourself In The Ass.

1. If 2 players are tied for lowest level, who gets to choose? (We rolled for it)
2. If the target of the curse has no armor or footgear, does the lowest level munchkin have to choose "lose a level" or can they select armor and make the curse have no effect?

1. Rolling seems fair. I can't think of any other way to solve it if the lowest players disagree as to the choice of which thing to lose.

2. When given a choice of things you can lose where some options don't affect the target, then you must choose one of the options that does affect the target, so yes, they must choose level loss in that case.

On the subject of this card, I have to say I was surprised by the card title. Seems a bit less family friendly than the usual Munchkin fare (though perhaps that's just reflecting the licensed material that it's based on).

Though there is the Bad Ass Bandana, so maybe not. :-)

And also the Sneaky Bastard Sword ;)

Thanks for the input, Clipper :)

Ah, but there really IS something that is called a Bastard Sword, without referring to one's parentage, so it kind of sneaks by. ;-) Like the Bad Ass in Clerical Errors, that is actually referring to a Donkey.

The game has always had the Kneepads of Allure, which is probably still the dirtiest joke in the game.

I suppose, but I can honestly say that I didn't get the dirtiness aspect of it at all until somebody suggested it to me on here. Certainly my kids don't get that out of it. :-)

Guess I've drifted this thread enough, though. Sorry.

"Ass" is a word allowed on tv. I wouldn't consider it to be worse than "butt".

Although it seems a bit weird complain about such things as words in a game were you have to kill things in cold-blood in order to win.

I think the digression has gone on long enough.

If you think the card steps over the line, nothing breaks if you throw it in the fire.

Can I assume you agree with Clipper's interpretation?
