GURPS Zombies & Discworld

GURPS Zombies should probably include information on, or at least references to, Discworld-type zombies like Baron Saturday, Reg Shoe, and Mr. Slant (the most feared lawyer in Ankh-Morpork). And of course, when Death went missing, there were plenty of dead people walking around. The Discworld take on zombies could be interesting and fun as player characters, with problems like mice infesting your body, and vulnerability to fire because you're so dried out.

If I recall correctly, an update of Discworld to 4e is in the works. Setting-specific zombies really belong there. Elements of those zombies may appear in the more general work, such as their inability to heal naturally and the consequences that has for them as characters.

Farther along than GURPS Zombies is at this time, AFAIK.

Yup: the playtest is complete, as opposed to Zombies currently being written.
