KoA is easy to explain...the kneepads are so awesome that you can't help but to assist in the combat.

*sigh*
Took me a whole year. Then it just dawned on me and it was so painfully obvious. As to explaining to your kids. Not all the cards have jokes....you can feign ignorance.....

Re: Marked for Death Demo Vs. My 6 year old
simply let them figure out the jokes by themselves. When they have the right references, they will.
OR You can always show the references if they're interested and let them figure out. or figure out what they know better and buy the munchkin from that theme. without looking at all cards Super Munchkin would be my choice for kids. |

Re: Marked for Death Demo Vs. My 6 year old
No 6yr old is going to get the knee pads joke (some adults didn't even get it). And if they do get it, I blame the parents and not the cards... what in the world are you teaching your children? lol

Re: Marked for Death Demo Vs. My 6 year old
This is a parental judgment call. Parents need to monitor their own child's maturity and level of understanding and, therein, remove the cards from the deck that they don't deem worthy of said child's eyes and ears. But for those of us that are of age, it looks like the KoA, Chainmail Bikini and Spiked codpiece with the gentleman's club is a perfect combination!

Re: Marked for Death Demo Vs. My 6 year old
I build a custom little 150 card door and treasure deck with simple to understand cards in it... The more he learns, the more I'll add... as for as the adult minded cards, I'll keep those out for now...

We run a PG-13 rules game. If your not over 13, we don't teach you the game. At conventions, we only allow 16 and older, unless a parent is about.
