The Textpad one is not to be confused with Notepad++ and no, sadly the Textpad file cannot be directly used in Notepad++ because it uses XML syntax in the definition files.

If you're interested in a Notepad++ language filter for GDF files I made one available in this post.

great i downloaded it and followed your instructions got import successful but i don't see it in the list of languages?

Rules are like guidlines and are viewed differently depending on which side you are standing on!

All user created/imported languages should appear all the way at the bottom of the Language list from the top menu (not in alphabetical order). It should just be called GCA.

YA I don't see that at all... after it said import successful do i have to do anything??? i know it is there cause the second time tried to save as GCA and it said it already exists

**Note to others if you run it in Administrative mode it then starts working after that.
