Default Hellboy Companion?

I read the other day an interview transcript from October 2004 where Mike Mignola, creator of the big red guy, mentions working on a Companion for the Hellboy RPG.

Has anyone heard any more on this? Will it ever see the light of day?

Really? That's news to us. Likely, it was a conversation about a possibility of maybe doing a supplement. Besides, although Mike approved the Hellboy RPG, he didn't really work on it.

Link?

I'd like to see that my self. With all the new stuff that has come out for the Hellboy world. The BRPD books and a new movie in the works maybe a big 4th edition book would sell.

Wha! That wasn't Mignola's art in that book?

None of the new art, no.

'Course, as I remember it, the artist we did get stopped doing gaming shortly thereafter, because the comic industry hired him....

This is link to the info I had...

http://www.toadmail.com/~nonews/2004_09_26_archive.html

I would *love* this to see the light of day, but realise that it's not on the cards at present.

Wow, that's one disorganized page. And yep, that looks like what I thought it was: a discussion about a potential future project that MM mentioned in passing.

Well, at least it seems that MM wouldnt be opposed to a companion or perhaps even a new edition for 4e.

I consider that good news.

I would love to see HB4e in a reasonably priced hardcover. I love that book but the Special Editon was just TOO expensive to justify.
