Extant Ogre Counter Sheets
Howdy Gents,
I've been collecting, best I can, what counter sheets I can find. I think now I'm coming down to the truly obscure. Problem with obscure is that you don't know what you don't know, so ... time to ask. I have the following sheets and I have one more incoming (the Fire Mountain sheets) A1 A6 B1 D1 D2 E1 E2 E5 E6 F1 F2 G1 H1 I1 K1 L1 M3 M4 O1 R1 Sheet 1 Reinforcement Sheet 1 6th Edition Sheet 2 x2 Reinforcement Sheet 2 6th Edition So the question is, "What am I missing?" Thanks Guys, Tom |

That was a useful thread. Seems I'm missing quite a few sheets. The Fire Mountain Sheets are coming in the mail this week. I don't know what their sheet designations are. Seller didn't know what I was asking. They just found them at a yard sale. Seems I'm missing as follows A2, A3, A4, and A5 B2, B3, B5 C1 E3, E4 J1 M1, M2 N1 P1 Q1 Which mains I've done a fair job so far. I played this game way back when it was just a paper board with paper counters way back in the 70s. It was only recently that I found it again, once more at a yard sale I think (the small plastic VHS Ogre/GEV game), and was reminded how much fun it was. And of course I've always been a big fan of Laumer's Bolos and Saberhagen's Berserkers. So I was delighted to find the game had grown. |

I usually click the person's name when reading a thread, then 'Contact Info', then 'Send a private message to [username]'. You can also use 'Private Messages' in the upper right, then 'Send new message' on the left sidebar, and type the username in the box. It has an autocomplete, which is nice. And lastly, for the sheer convenience of it here is a direct link to 'New private message to Misplaced Buckeye': http://forums.sjgames.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=103352 Good luck on your treasure hunt!

Re: Extant Ogre Counter Sheets
Well as it turns out the seller who didn't know what they were selling couldn't even read what was printed. What I received was the Nihon sheet (which I already have).
Bummer! |

Re: Extant Ogre Counter Sheets
For the moment I will wait to see if the lady responds and can correct her error. She provided pictures of the correct counters. She just didn't send them. So, maybe she just made a mistake she can correct.
Edit: She's contacted me and promised to send the correct counters. So, I guess we just sit back and wait until next week, seeing what happens then. Last edited by Cundiff; 05-09-2019 at 02:37 PM. |
