How long does Santa's Bad Stuff last?

There is a monster from 'Unnatural Axe' titled Santa. Does its bad stuff entry persist beyond the time it is involved
in combat and is in play on the table?

Santa's Bad Stuff persists until you've met the conditions. That is, you don't get any Treasure until you've killed a Monster on your own. If you've just Run Away from Santa and he's caught you, there's no way you could possibly go on to fight another Monster, so the Bad Stuff will have to persist even after the Monster card has been discarded because the combat is over.

So since in fact you only EVER get treasure having defeated a monster, does this means that various options like a Wizard's "charming" a monster still will never work even on subsequent turns? Or does Santa only apply on the present turn?

The Santa card is very clear that it must be from killing the Monster, not defeating it in some other way, and it persists until you've killed a Monster. However many turns that may be.
