"Fire Up The Atomic Electro-Magneto-Proton . . . Thingie!"
GURPS Tales of the Solar Patrol is your 52-page ticket back to a time when science fiction was heavy on the fiction and a little light on science. In fact, let's just chuck science right out the darn window. Now my bubble helmet will protect me from harmful solar radiation. I can travel through space at incredible speeds without suffering any relativistic time dilation. And my rocket? Why yes, it is perfectly capable of VTOL.
Take that, Newton!

Hmmm...That reads out of order to me. I'd've worded it as "Humans and dinosaurs go together like pizza and gamers." Gamers eat pizza; dinos eat the anachronistic humans... >;) Franklin

I've been working on a somewhat realistic 50s scifi setting for quite some time (tentatively titled GURPS the Day After the Earth Stood Still). Trying to combine the gee-whiz of classic scifi with the more modern sensibilities of current scifi.
This pdf may have just the right amount of somewhat that I need... Opens wallet...

I was thinking of getting to do a Skylark of Space EE Doc Smith type game. I seem to recall copper being used as fuel in that universe.
