No Monsters On Board
I just bought Munchkin Quest and am familiar with Munchkin Deluxe which I love but I know this one is different and I bored my brother and friend by sitting and reading the entire manual before we played but still have a question about monsters. We start the game and pay move to explore a room and encounter a monster. IF we kill that monster and end our turn it's NOW the Monster Turn. We roll and if it lands on a players color he or she gets a DxM card BUT what do we do if there is no monster to move? Just go on to the next player? Me and my little brother played last night with NO monsters moving around the dungeon and I felt as if we were playing it wrong. I read the instructions again and the only thing I could find about the monsters not being on the board was that you still roll the Monster Die.

Re: No Monsters On Board
You may not have any monsters if you draw lots of low-level monsters that you can easily kill. If you have to Run Away, however, the monster stays out there.
Yes, you roll the Monster Die even if there are no monsters, because a player can still receive a DxM if the MD comes up his color.
