As various other people have mentioned, maps. Also, sets of overlays (a sheet of water overlays, a sheet of city overlays, etc.). Finally, a glow-in-the-dark Ogrethulhu. :)

(I don't collect miniatures, but I'd buy an Ogrethulhu.)

I was wondering if you'd chip in here with a map request. You did not disappoint!

And I'm kicking myself now because the budget was tight and I didn't spring for a double of #2. (1) Many Minis 1 + (1) Many Minis 2 = (8) sets of #1 and (5) sets of #2. (8) of 2 would be very helpful for running 8 player games.

Hotdogs and Buns packaging, I say thee GRRRRRR!

Anyone who had the clairvoyance to purchase (4) Many Minis 1, and then followed up with (7) Many Minis 2 would have yielded a balanced force (35) of each, with some spray-painting to balance out the colour assortment.

Some things I'd like to see:

1.) Combine minis to 'match' the PE ones
2.) individual sprues of units (not sure how financially feasible that is) as I'd like to be able to get more GEVs or Heavy Tanks without having to buy a whole box of other minis
3.) all the other Marks of OGRES
4.) book on all the other factions besides the Combine and PE, giving some background and history, along with any new unit stats
5.) this is a longshot but here goes - KRAKENs (OGRE ships)

<minor rant, ignore if you like :) > As retired Navy I would LOVE to see OGRE adapted for seagoing battles. The core rules could easily be adapted I should think. The main things to figure out would be what the base scenario would be and what the unit stats are. For the scenario I'm thinking a convoy where the defender has some transport ships to protect (How do you think OGRES get across the ponds?) along with a number of escort ships. The attacker has a KRAKEN that has to hunt down and destroy the transports. Escort ships would be things like Patrol Craft/Escorts (fill a similar role to Infantry), Frigates, Destroyers, Cruisers, Heavy Cruisers, and Battleships, along with Missile versions of the Destroyer and Cruiser. Stats could be done as OGRE units, with larger ships (Cruisers and larger) being able to split their Attack Value between multiple targets (like the Superheavy Tank although maybe between 3 or 4 targets depending on the size of ship). KRAKENs would use the same set up as OGREs with Primary, Secondary and Missiles. APs would be "Point Defense" and only function against Patrol Craft, Treads would become Thrusters. To really muck up the works have the KRAKEN be able to submerge, either Depth 1 (may only use missiles to attack, or be attacked by), or Depth 2 (no shooting at or from, and it may not fire on the turn it surfaces). A counter for submerged KRAKENS is make a submarine unit that can fire with full effect against it (and other standard units) with torpedoes if both targets are at Depth 1. Maybe give the KRAKEN some torpedoes to use against those pesky subs. Some other things to think of are amphibious landing scenarios (disembark the OGRES and troops from the transports), along with coastal defense and NGFS (Naval Gunfire Support). There are lots of possibilities.
<end of rant... whew>

So Drew (and everyone else)... what do you think? :D

Ah, it was easy for me. I got the Ogre Veteran level in the first Kickstarter, which gave me two copies of regular Set 1, one in reverse colors, one in hunter green, and one in Glow-in-the-Dark. I then added a second full set of GitD. Later I bought the Armory Set 1, giving me another copy each of reverse, hunter green, and GitD. I also bought another copy of the regular Set 1, bringing me up to 10 total copies of Set 1.

I then ordered the Many Minis level of the Set 2 Kickstarter, giving me ten copies of Set 2...and another two copies of Set 1. Dammit. :D

I do expect to see some really magnificent games with all the minis that are out there now.

So say we all! Painting on the great plastic pile is progressing at a steady pace here and preparations of 80mm hex mats. I am aiming for having a respectable convention game debuting at Arisia 2019 in January (big Sci-Fi convention here in Boston with lots of gaming).

That's the plan!

I dreamed of having massive armies of minis back when the first Martian Metals packs came out. I never did find any more, and was away from Ogre until last year.

Now I can finally build the Ogre army I wanted all those years ago.

I've had to do it the hard way - i missed the Set 1 KS, was financially strapped for the Set 2 KS and Armory Box, but was able to get the Many Minis level during the recent Miniatures Rulebook KS, so I'll get a grey Set 1 & 5 Set 2's in November. I have 2 retail copies of Set 1, and picked up a GiTD Set 1 recently.

Cant wait for the MK VI & "?" ogre KS soon.

Thanks for making them!

My forces have been roughly doubled, so yes, the games will get a lot bigger.

I would've taken pictures, but, uh...they probably would not have been safe for work.

Next time!
