Feline Intervention
Okay so the senario is this:
I was playing in a group of four people. Player 2 kicked down the door and got a high level monster I don’t remember exactly, but he was at level 9 and no one wanted him to beat it. He used the bardic ability enthrall on me (he wasn’t aware that he couldn’t do that and go up a level) and I lost the roll so I was brought into the combat. Since I didn’t want him to be getting any treasures I used the wizard ability charm and discarded my hand and the monster and I took the treasure. Before I did this, I confirmed with him that I was indeed in the combat. After I declared I was going to charm the monster and began discarding my hand, he tried to play feline intervention. I believed it was too long after the roll had been made to stop me from charming. But, he wanted to cancel the roll that brought me into the fight to begin with. A friend who wasn’t playing at the time believed he could play it because it was in response to what I was doing, thus, a “before you do that I’m going to do (x)” So, 1. Should he have been able to play feline intervention and removed me from combat because the bardic ability enthrall needed to be rolled. 2. Was I correct and it was too long after the roll to play feline. In particular, because I clarified that I was in the fight. 3.or I suppose, I still charm the monster but player 2 gets the treasures anyway because I was forced to help and had no obligation to the treasure. |

Re: Feline Intervention
Once other actions took place, it was too late to play Feline Intervention.
As for who gets the Treasure, the rules say that the main fighter does and must distribute it according to the agreement, if any, reached with the helper.
