2 shields
I don't find rules for using two shields at once. Is there any advantage over just one shield?

Re: 2 shields
Normally, the shield gives you a DB against attacks from in front of you or on your shield side. With two shields, that would expand to both sides. As far as drawbacks, thrust+1 crushing is a pretty sad weapon and shields are heavy.

Re: 2 shields
Check out Pyramid 3/118
The Shield-Bearer, by Sean Punch. A defense-centric Knight-ish template, and page 6 has a Text-box on 2-shield fighting. More blocking is the upside, (basically only your rear hex is unshielded). A main point is ye only count the DB from your best shield, they don’t combine. If you’re looking to run around blocking tons of blows for yourself and your allies, or slamming/pushing punks around, it’s a worthwhile article.

Re: 2 shields
The damage is sad, but it’s pretty easy to build for knockdown once you add ST, Weapon Master, Dwarven and Spiked. And very few things get back up before you kill them. Don’t run into you target — a glitch in the rules makes easier to slam someone prone from a hex away than six.

Re: 2 shields
The damage is actually pretty good if you use an edged shield. It allows swing cut damage.

And no maximum ST.

Re: 2 shields
The houserule I've heard thrown around a lot is if both of your shields have the same DB, you get a +1 from front attacks only (to simulate both helping and that they only overlap in the front hex). It could also make a nice perk if you want someone to work for it.
