Have you seen my collection? I think I've got more than enough army to tell a Mk. V exactly what it can and cannot do. ;)

Wow, with such dispaly of minies, you can also tell me what I can and cannot do.
Too bad I was involved in other minis game back then. Thanks for sharing such awesome pics.

Um...hate to tell you this, but my entire collection is from the past few months, aside from that one Day-glo green Fencer. It all started when I decided to pick up a Mk. I, II, and III-b to compliment my selection of plastic Ogres...and then I got lucky with a big lot of classic miniatures on eBay...and it just kind of snowballed from there. :D

Also, my collection has expanded quite a bit from those pictures in December. I'll post new shots soon.

Col., with all due respect, we're talking about a game that gives you victory points for carrying out atrocity raids and nuking defenseless civilians. A crack about topless dancing Ogres has got to rate rather low on the "offense to moral values" scale in that context, don't you think?

Ironically, I wrote a rant about this sort of thing years ago on my blog, referencing a past conversation on this exact board. Funny that this has come up again in my first visit back here in years...

I posted that with a wink and a smile. Sorry, I should've used an emoji to make clear that I am not actually grossed out, and was just continuing the joke. :)

After a lot of goading from the FB Ogre community, I finally got around to taking pictures of (most of) my Ogre Minis set...a GITD set and its matching Ogres were left out as those are intended for a friend, as well as a GITD set I'm not sure what to do with. Might use it as a ghost army [washed and left alone], might use it for husks or kitbashing...dunno, since it'll never have a companion Set 2.

Behold, the madness of a guy with a few sprues loose...12 nipped and ready to rock:

Sorry, sorry, I couldn't resist.

Let's try that again. 12 copies of Set 1, with their Ogres, plus the extras I've got for kitbashing...3 pairs of the black, and 4 pairs of the GITD. Like a few of the others (Mack_JB and ColBosch being inspirations), I'm gonna make some Huscarls.

Running some rough measurements...I won't be able to show you that same setup including the set 2 stuff when it delivers...the table won't be big enough.

Since this is the complete Loot thread and not just a Minis thread, here's the current state of my pile o' stuff...which is going to change once Set 2, Minis 2nd Edition, and/or the Minis 2nd Ed W23 sale deliver.

Edit: And one last link: A full chronicle of staring into the abyss until Ogrethulhu stared back:

That's a VERY nice collection. Like you, many of us are dreading the "time-sink" factor of when we actually get around to painting our minis.

I'm kinda dreading having to /assemble/ another 1200, too...
