may choose not to fight, will not attack, will not persue
Do the rules change for monster cards when fleeing from combat that says "may choose not to fight", "will not attack", or "will not pursue"?
If I look for trouble, declare that I want to fight, buffs happen, and then I need to flee. can I just leave the combat for any of these without rolling or is this only for "will not pursue" monsters? |

Quote:
"Will not attack" means exactly that: the monster will not attack you. Unless the card says otherwise, you cannot choose to attack it anyway. "Will not pursue" means you're required to fight the monster, along with any others that may be in the fight, but if you decide to Run Away, you aren't required to roll for that specific monster, because it's not chasing you.
