Hey there - I am having a problem loading a character file from local. It loads, I try to add Patron to it and when I hit Take Patron the file disappears and is not changed. When I open locally I get the default new character sheet and I use File to browse to my saved character sheet. It just won't stay and take the change. What am I missing?

Hm - I'm not sure what's going on there. I could try asking some questions, but I think maybe the best way to handle this is to have you send me the file. I assume the problem is there somewhere, since adding a Patron works OK for other files.

Could you use the email link from my user profile, and attach the file? If there isn't an option for that, my email is jim.thurmond<at>gmail.com; you can send it directly there. (Hope it's OK to put an email address here...)

Version 1.9 of JCSP is now public.

Major changes:

• GURPS Lite, 4th edition rules are now supported.
• New toggle-able transparent overlay of body part DR in Character Art panels.
• Ambidextrous characters can now wield a 'dominant hand' weapon in each hand.
• Improved handling of encumbrance, move, and active defenses.
• Added magic "Paths" to spell list.

Another year, another JCSP release! Version 1.10 is now public. New stuff:

• Library Reports: generate tables of Skills, Weapons, Spells, Templates, etc. based on the currently-loaded ruleset.
• Three new character sheets, including one for Dungeon Fantasy.
• Natural weapons (fists, teeth, strikers) can be added like equipment.
• Lots more character templates and line art.
• Magic, Fantasy Folk, and Low Tech supplemental libraries now available.

Hey; new computer new problems.
Running Win 10 and I get the same problem in Chrome or Firefox - the character sheet is disjointed with several dialog boxes and there is a permanent overlay of the disclaimer concerning SJG's property, your creation of the JCSP and release for free distribution etc as well as a series of what might be selection buttons if they worked. The dialog boxes are in the background and scroll and occasionally a button is active (3e, 4e etc).

Any idea what the basic malf is here? Is there something more I have to do with 7-zip?

Do you have adblockers or scriptblocking security software installed? Those can play merry havoc with web apps.
