Default ACOG sight? [High Tech]

I'm looking at the Sight and Aiming Aids section of High-Tech, but can't tell which of the accessories is closest to an ACOG sight. Does anyone here know what it is?

According to this it's the equivalent of the Collimating Sight, Tritium on HT156, with a +0 to +2 depending on the magnification of the individual scope.

How to represent the bullet drop compensation in GURPS? Or it is beyond the scope of GURPS?

It's just part of the Acc bonus.

No. The ACOG is a 4X scope (+2 Acc) with illuminated reticle (ignores -2 in darkness penalties) as per pp. 155-156 in HIGH-TECH.

Cheers

Ok.

Despite I agree with you, in Modern Firepower is written that ACOG is a colimating sight. (HT:MF p.13).

Funnily, I'm the author of both MODERN FIREPOWER and HIGH-TECH:

The sight in MODERN FIREPOWER is the non-magnifying ACOG Reflex sight.
The more common ACOG Scope is a tritium-illuminated telescopic sight.

Cheers

Would a low-power scope like the 1.5x ACOG be GURPS coded as a collimating/reflex sight? Or would you make a special case and round up to 2x (+1 acc)?

The wording of High-Tech suggests that GURPS doesn't consider a scope to be a scope until 2x.

I know that!!!

This is why I posted the reference to MODERN FIREPOWER.
But you explained to me the differences and cleared all my doubts.

In the descriptions of M4/M4A1 and G36, commonly with ACOG sights, in HIGH TECH I notice that the authors [I don`t if it was you or Shawn, or Michael] write that these weapons could come with collimating sights giving +1 Acc.
No doubt that it`s ACOG Reflex, then.

I don't wanna be a PITA for no one.

Did you know HANS how goes the Gun Fu Book?

Thanks a lot.
