Green Ronin's DC Adventures - Reviewers here?
I have read the reviews at rpg.net and critical-hits.com and, although I am not averse to reading more reviews from other sources, would especially like to know the feelings of any locals who have read (and hopefully played) it. I have a passing familiarity with M&M, which I understand is the basis for this new book, but I am mostly interested in how it compares to the old DC Heroes in playability and faithfulness to the feel of the source material.

Re: Green Ronin's DC Adventures - Reviewers here?
I've run and played all 3 versions of Mayfair's DC Heroes, I own a sizeable chunk of the 2E M&M books, and I've done a light reading on the DC Adventures 3E book.
IMHO, it's pretty good. As always, YMMV. Somebody out there is going to hate it and see it as the spawn of Darkseid. I will say this. As far as write-ups of published characters in a game system goes... someone is going to find fault. The write-ups are for "iconic" versions of the characters, which can be amended to your needs, not specific versions which become dated and useless. Debating character write-ups is like comicbook physics. Everybody thinks they are right, and can find a comic to prove themselves right. |

Well... not as many responses as I had hoped for, but I think I will take the chance on the first book to satisy this urge for some new supers rpg material.
Thanks a lot for the post! |

Let me know what you think, Shrub. The new DC RPG has me intrigued (I own both the Mayfair and the WEG takes on that universe), but the price is high and the budget is stretched thin, so if someone can give a detailed recommendation or warning, it would be appreciated.
