SJ server slow since about Aug 16 2010?

Hi,

unsure if this belongs here, but: Is SJG experiencing server problems (or even attacks)? Since about two weeks, the site (not only the forum but everything) is unusually slow for me, sometimes pages don't load at all because the connection expires, sometimes the server takes a minute to respond before he loads the page - the loading itself is pretty quick again, it just appears to take the server very long to respond at all.

Just wanted to know if I'm alone with the problem or if there is indeed something off.

Interestingly, today is the first time I have had trouble getting on to the site (and forums, specifically).

Hope it's nothing evil...

You're not alone, the site is amazingly slow (getting timeouts) for me, too.

I couldn't get on until this afternoon. I figured it was a maintenance thing.

August 16th? I had not noticed any particular problems until today. From about noon (my time) until a few hours ago, I was not able to reach the site at all.
